5 Easy Egg White Recipes for High-Protein Gym Meals

EGG RAW 500 ml liquid egg whites with a high-protein breakfast spread

In short: Start with a measured egg white pour, add flavour and vegetables, then build the rest of the meal around your appetite. These five ideas use ordinary kitchen ingredients and avoid complicated supplement recipes.

Before you start

Use a measuring jug and a clean pan. Keep the bottle refrigerated between pours. The protein figures below refer only to the egg whites, calculated from the current EGG RAW label: 10 g protein per 100 ml. Other ingredients and portion sizes change the finished meal’s nutrition.

1. Masala egg white scramble

For one serving: 200 ml egg whites, ¼ chopped onion, one small chopped tomato, coriander, cumin, chilli to taste and one teaspoon oil.

  1. Warm the oil and soften the onion with cumin.
  2. Add tomato and cook until the excess moisture reduces.
  3. Lower the heat, pour in the whites and stir gently until fully set.
  4. Finish with coriander and serve with roti or toast.

The egg white portion contributes about 20 g protein. Keep the heat moderate for a softer texture.

2. Spinach and mushroom omelette

Cook sliced mushrooms and a handful of spinach first so they release their moisture. Add 150 ml egg whites, spread the filling evenly and cook gently until set throughout. Fold and serve with toast. The whites supply about 15 g protein.

3. Banana and oat pancakes

Mash one small banana with 100 ml egg whites and 40 g finely ground oats. Rest briefly so the oats hydrate. Cook small pancakes in a lightly oiled pan over medium-low heat, turning once the surface sets. Cook the centre through before serving. The whites add about 10 g protein; toppings and oats add their own nutrients.

4. Cooked egg white roti wrap

Scramble 150 ml egg whites with capsicum and black pepper. Place the fully cooked filling in a roti with cucumber and a spoon of yogurt dressing. Assemble just before eating so the wrap stays firm. The whites supply about 15 g protein.

5. Rice and egg white bowl

Use freshly cooked rice or properly chilled cooked rice. Sauté vegetables, add 200 ml egg whites and cook until set, then fold in the rice and heat the bowl thoroughly. Season with lemon, coriander and your preferred spices. The egg whites supply about 20 g protein.

Adjust the meal, not just the protein

Add carbohydrate foods when you need a larger meal, and vary vegetables for flavour. These are cooking ideas, not a fixed diet plan. Ingredient moisture and your pan affect cooking time, so check that the egg mixture is cooked through.

Frequently asked questions

Can I substitute liquid whites for shell egg whites?

Use the recipe’s weight or volume where available. Shell eggs vary in size, so millilitres are more reliable than an assumed egg count.

Can I make a whole week at once?

Plan around safe storage and the bottle’s after-opening window. A short batch is more suitable than leaving cooked egg meals in the fridge all week.
